Steal these games: Aug 13th New Releases
Two weeks left until the unofficial end of summer. I know, crazy right. Where does the time go? Fortunately, you’ve still got lots of time to game before heading back to school this fall. This week, we’ve got two big retail releases coming out to satisfy your insane clone fantasies.
Just in time for the annual gathering of the Juggalos, we have Payday 2 hitting most major systems this week. Dress up like a clown and rob banks with friends. The game won numerous awards at E3 this year, so it’s definitely worth taking a look see. Just don’t wear your ICP makeup when you stop by Gamestop to pick this up. That’s damn scary.
Retro gaming fans can look forward to the HD remake of DuckTales. Aye, laddy, it’s true. The NES classic is back with updated graphics and the same beloved gameplay. There’s still some room left in Scrooge McDuck’s money bin. Cane pogo across the world in search of treasure and riches, the likes of which Duckburg has never seen. I loved this cartoon as a kid so I’m stoked for this release. It’s available as a download for most major systems. PS+ members can snag it at a nice 20% discount.
If you’re a Wii U or Vita owner, more bad news on the way. There are no new releases planned for this week. Yet somehow the Wii still gets three new games.
